The 68-year-old has been confirmed as the special guest for the function, which is scheduled for the Ballarat Golf Club on Wednesday, February 14.
O’Keeffe took 53 wickets and made 644 runs from 24 appearances at the highest level. He played his last Test for Australia in 1977 and is now a popular figure on radio.
Last year, race walker Jared Tallent joined long distance runner Steve Moneghetti and trap shooter Russell Mark as the equal most recipients of the Ballarat Sportsperson of the Year award.
