Batting first, Riddell reached 7-115 from its 20 overs and then restricted the Castlemaine District Cricket Association-based rivals to 9-110 in reply.
Matt Livingston impressed with the bat, contributing a very entertaining knock of 41, before taking 4-9 from his four overs to steer the Gisborne and District league side to victory.
Riddell will take on Ballarat Cricket Association club Golden Point in the final of the competition on January 26.
This coming Sunday, the division two semi finals will see Macedon face Lexton, with an opponent for Laanecoorie Dunolly still to be decided.
The Pointies will be looking to take the crown off Mt Clear, which won the Cricket Willow Cup last season.
Golden Point is being captained in Twenty20 matches this season by all-rounder Simon Ogilvie.
