Hall was declared the winner on a countback from Wood and Millar.
The top 24 professionals from Saturday’s stroke round now progress to Sunday’s knockout games, which take place under six-hole match play conditions.
In the amateur division, Mark Loveless took the honours in Saturday’s Stableford round and is the number one seed in the play-offs.
Sunday’s golf begins with a 7.15am shotgun start.
