Ballarat City Rowing Club and Damascus College figured prominently on the podium in a regatta on Lake Wendouree on Saturday.

Ballarat City went away with five firsts, two seconds and two thirds, while Damascus tallied four wins, two seconds and two thirds at the Ballarat Rowing Association event.
Ballarat High School managed three seconds and two thirds.
City won the female C grade coxed four, female C grade pair, female D grade single scull, female C grade eight, D grade double scull and female B grade coxed four.
The Damascus victories came in the male D grade coxed four, female under-21 coxed four and female D grade coxed four.
This was the first regatta of the year on Lake Wendouree and begins the build-up to the Ballarat Associated Schools Head of the Lake on Sunday, February 25, and Victorian state championships on March 3-4.
