The November 14-18 festival will showcase the region’s strengths and build on its existing reputation as a place of wellness.
The festival’s program will embrace all elements of wellness through a range of activities including yoga, meditation, creative workshops and inspirational speakers.
Live. Love. Life. will be creatively co-directed by Ceberano and Bromley.
At the announcement on Tuesday morning, Bromley spoke about how the festival will showcase Daylesford and Macedon Ranges.
“This festival will be atypical. It won’t be a typical arts or wellness festival,” Bromley said.
Bromley said the festival would be about wellness, but also about taking visitors on a journey to discover the area and what the region has to offer.
“We also have quite an iconic Australian actor that we are lining up,” he said.
The Live. Love. Life. festival is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors during the five-day period.
The event is expected to fill up the region’s bars, hotels and restaurants, thereby delivering significant benefits to the local economy.
Ceberano detailed how the festival will be a stand out.
“This festival will be about loving, living and enjoying one’s life. Ultimately, being in the moment.”
“We want to enhance all the perceptions we feel about the precinct physically, spiritually and mentally,” she said.
Macedon MP Mary-Anne Thomas praised the upcoming festival.
“Live. Love. Life will drive tourism, boost the local economy, create new jobs and reinforce Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges’ status as one of the nation’s leading wellness destinations,” Ms Thomas said.
The festival will add to the region’s enviable annual calendar of major events, in addition to the upcoming Chillout and Clunes International Booktown festivals.
“We’re bringing a mix of events to our regions, celebrating local communities and ensuring Victoria remains the events capital of Australia,” Ms Thomas said.
