Two people have been arrested following a spate of car thefts, including one in which a teenager was dragged along the side of the road as she tried to save her dog from her car as it was being driven away.

A 30-year-old man and 31-year-old woman, both from Skye, were arrested in Dandenong South about 5.45pm on Wednesday, as police still hunt for another man believed to be involved in the crime spree.
Police vehicles were also rammed during the chaotic four-hour crime spree on Monday night, as the thieves hopped between three different cars in the Frankston area.
The alleged carjackers later snagged a ride to evade police with an unsuspecting good Samaritan.
An 18-year-old Skye woman was injured after her Renault convertible was stolen on Frankston-Cranbourne Road about 7.30pm.
Taylor Hall, 18, from Skye, was left with facial and leg injuries after she tried to rescue her dog, Luna, from the backseat of her the car before she was dragged along the road by the alleged carjackers.
"They just jumped straight into our car just yelling at us 'get out of the car, get out of the car'," she said on Tuesday.
"I would have held on [to the car] for longer but as soon as I hit that kerb, I [was] flung off and I smacked straight into the kerb."
Ms Hall underwent surgery for injuries to her mouth on Tuesday and will require extensive dental work to fix her broken teeth.
The arrested duo, both from Skye, are in custody and being interviewed by police.
Another 35-year-old Seaford woman was arrested at the scene on Monday night and is expected to be charged on summons with theft of a motor vehicle.
