BROWN Hill Blaze and Dela Assuntas have a long history of exciting matches, so when they played each other in netball in round 12 of the Athlete’s Foot Cup, it was a tough competition.
Emma Farrell, Georgia Cann and Cindy Daniel were Dela’s goaling combination, all working well and scoring accurately no matter who was in the mix.
Cindy Daniel moved to WA after Lauren Atkinson left the court with an ankle injury.
The centre court match-ups of Dela’s Johanna Dash, Cindy Daniel, Amanda Clarke and Brianna Elliott against Brown Hill’s Kirsty Walsh, Stacey McCartin, Molly Boyle and Kate Martin produced dynamic, strong and direct drives through the centre court to deliver the ball with precision to their goalers.
Dela’s Emma Ryan and Lauren Quinlan and Brown Hill’s Kara Hart, Emma Burton and Molly Boyle, who moved to GK in the last quarter, applied tough defensive pressure on the goalers throughout the match.
