Ogilvie was presented with a replica Ashes urn by Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland and former Test fast bowler and current Cricket Australia board member Michael Kasprowicz.
The presentation was made at a recent one-day international between Australia and England at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Ogilvie was both the Central Highlands and Cricket Victoria junior coach of the year for 2016-17.
Central Highlands regional cricket manager Campbell Waring said Ogilvie had shown a commitment to developing the game at a junior club level through his coaching and administration of the girls’ program at Golden Point.
“He is a dedicated junior coach who has had a positive impact on a large number of junior players at both club and regional level over an extended period,” Waring told The Courier.
