Ms Wiasak, who is based in Canberra, has put out the call for anyone who can to sign up for this weekend’s Reach4Research Cycle Classic.
The criterium queen took to social media saying how thrilled she was to be ambassador for such an important event.
Ms Wiasak joins AFL identities Danny Frawley and Michael Malthouse as Cycle Classic ambassadors, reiterating every cent from entries supports the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute in Ballarat.
This is a special city for Ms Wiasak who, vying for a spot on the Australian Commonwealth Games track team, made a rare appearance on our roads last month to claim the criterium in a Sturt Street sprint finish.
