TODAY more than 1000 Ballarat students will begin the final chapter of high school by sitting the English exam.
They will be among more than 42,000 students across the state sitting the exam, and over 82,000 students taking at least one VCE subject.
Yesterday Ballarat High School year 12 students Chris Francis and Addie Grant said that despite being a little bit anxious, they were looking forward to exams.
“There are a few nerves but I think everyone is pretty excited to show what they can do,” Addie said. “I think everyone seems to be pulling together.”
Chris agreed. “I’m pretty nervous, three hours is a long time. I’m just excited to get it over and done with,” he said.
In total, 2026 Ballarat students are embarking on their VCE exams. Results will be available from Monday, December 17.
