Springmount Parish is presenting the Four Seasons Fine Music Festival, which kicks off in Creswick this weekend.

Following on from the success of another outstanding line up at the Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields festival this year, the team will bring their passion for fine music to Creswick, Clunes and Newlyn

Festival director Ryan Bennett and program director Judy Houston said they were happy with the way the program had developed.

“The Four Seasons compliments the well-established Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival. Our emerging festival is purposely designed to continue bringing fine music to our region throughout the year. I know that Sergio de Pieri, musical director of OBG, is very pleased that his vision is continuing,” Mr Bennett said.

“The festival is run by a very small committee of five remarkable and dedicated community members, who all have skills that have enabled us to present this festival. Without their support it would be much harder for us to achieve our aim of creating an inclusive festival for all the community to enjoy in two beautiful, historic churches in Creswick and Clunes,”  he said

The Saturday night concert in Creswick includes lutenist Rosemary Hodgson and tenor Robert McFarlane.

On the Sunday concert in Creswick, Trillo, from The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music will play a Concert of Early Music.  Bookings: Trybooking or ballaratanglican.org.au/fourseasons
