It has been confirmed that Tristan Fisher and Ross Weightman will return to the Miners and Claire Constable and Taylah Wynne to the Rush.
Fisher is a local player and first started his basketball journey with the Celtic Tigers before moving into the Ballarat junior and senior elite programs.
In 2017, Fisher was in contention for the Youth League One Men’s most valuable player award and all-star five honours, but was narrowly edged out. Fisher also played in 13 games for the Miners.
A talented and hard-working player, Weightman played in seven Youth League games, as well as 16 SEABL matches for the Miners in 2017.
Constable and Wynne also played between the two senior teams in 2017 and were joint-winners of the Ballarat Rush Dawn Jose Youth League MVP award despite only being involved in 15 and 14 games respectively.
Both the Ballarat Miners and Ballarat Rush have resumed full pre-season training, with Josh Fox, Nic Pozoglou, Joy Burke, Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams all due to arrive at the club within the next two weeks.
Melbourne United players Sam Short and Peter Hooley are then expected to join the Miners in late March.
