The annual Mountain of Fun Run helps them fundraise for learning tools, like iPads, but also promotes good, healthy fun. And they want to be ready for the climb.
St Brendan’s school captain Kiely Peterken said this was a special run, as the event marks its 10th anniversary. Kiely said it was fun to meet people as you ran and encourage each other.
“Give it a go and have fun,” Kiely said. “Leading up we’ve been running the oval to get fit for the fun run and because it’s good to keep your body healthy and keep exercising.”
Mountain of Fun Run is on March 4 with 12.5 and six-kilometre events. Online entries close Friday: mountainoffunrun.com.
