The man, who wished to remain anonymous, won the prize after playing the same numbers for the last 27 years.
And those numbers just happened to be his wife’s and kid’s birthdays.
“They are my kid’s birthdays and my wife’s birthday and my birthday,” said the lucky winner.
“I’ve been playing them for about 27 years.
“I checked on Saturday night and certainly did some celebrating after I found out.
“It’s unbelievable really – I thought if I ever won I’d be jumping around for joy but I didn’t. I just went numb!
“I didn’t get any sleep.”
In total he won $461,020.08 for the division one prize.
The Brown Hill man said he didn’t know how he would spend the money.
“I’ve already lost half of it, I have to share it with my wife,” he joked.
“I’m not sure yet but I’m sure I’ll find something to do with it. It’s not enough to retire on but now I won’t have any bills to pay so that’s good.”
And for the record, the winning numbers were: 5, 19, 1, 30, 14 and 15, while the supplementary numbers were 20 and 28.
