The Ballarat Light Car Club member said volunteers were at their post, most deep in the forest, but it was an amazing way to show off the city’s surrounds.
“Ballarat is a beautiful event and it’s great to highlight all we’ve got here,” Ms Bennett said.
“To have the event back here, last year, after more than 40 years is absolutely phenomenal.”
The Courier Eureka Rally featured 49 cars in action, covering 600 kilometres and starting from Camp Street, for the two-day event.
Organisers praised the community support and strong volunteer presence.
Harry Bates and co-driver John McCarthy went back-to-back for Eureka Rally titles.
