A green wave is set to hit Dunnstown as the town prepares to celebrate St Patricks Day on Saturday.

The inaugural Dunnstown Irish Festival will be taking over the Dunnstown Community Center from 12:00pm untill 11.30pm.
The event will feature traditional Irish events such as tug of war, sheaf tossing, potato picking, and Irish dancing, as well as kids friendly activities a jumping castle, potato sack races, and face painting.
Live music will be being performed all day, with popular Ballarat six-piece Old Melbourne Road set to headline the festivities at 8:00pm.
The band is back in Australia after a successful tour of Ireland in 2017.
Food trucks and Guiness on tap will be available throughout the day.
The event is free for under-18’s, $20 for adults, and $40 for a family.
Free buses will be running to the event from Ballarat CBD and Federation University at the following times:
From Grenville Street Ballarat (near carpet court) at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm, 9:00pm.
From Chancellor Drive, Federation Uni at 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm
