The Kookaburras suffered a 104-86 defeat at the hands of Ocean Grove in Saturday’s knockout semi-final at Eastern Park.
Sebastopol, which finished the home and away season in fourth position on the ladder, won just one rink for the day with Ian Warner’s group successful by 12 shots.
Fellow skippers Rob Baker, Simon Cornock and Glenn Sargent were all beaten.
The result ends the campaign for the Kookaburras, while the Grovers can start planning for a preliminary final next weekend against Queenscliff.
The Cliffers also suffered defeat on Saturday, going down 107-95 in the semi-final battle with Bareena.
That clash was also played at Eastern Park.
Bareena is now into the grand final on March 25, while Queenscliff has been left to utilise its double chance for finishing inside the top two.
