High School was declared champion school at the SSV Regatta on the Barwon River at Geelong on Thursday.
Seven of the school’s 11 crews had wins – boys’ Year 10 division 2, Year 10 division 3 and Year 9 division 1; and girls’ Year 10 division 2, Year 9 division 2, Year 9 division 3 and open division 2.
This put High School on top of the aggregate table, as well as having the best performed secondary school girls.
While High School has had crews at the SSV and Head of the Schoolgirls regattas this week, its senior fours have been focused on training programs for next week’s national championships in Sydney.
