The Ballarat Dancesport Festival returns for its 28th year, attracting dancers young and old from across the state.
The colourful spectacle of dance will include both day and evening sessions and competition will be divided into age groups and experience levels, with both graded and recreational events.
The festival covers a range of ballroom and Latin dancing styles including the waltz, quickstep, cha cha, jive, samba and rumba.
Ballarat’s festival kicks off the Victorian event calendar and leads into the Victorian Championship in May and the Southern Cross Championship in July.
The Australian Dancing Society-run event takes place at Mars Minerdome, Wendouree, on Saturday, April 7. Admission starts at $15. For more information visit australiandancingsociety.com.au/.
