The Ballarat boys head into the clash on the back of a 5-0 drubbing of Sunshine George Cross, which was headlined by a Michael Trigger hat-trick.
That has left City fourth on the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 west table, three points behind leaders St Albans Saints.
Gnjidic said the Victory outfit, which drew 4-4 with the Saints last weekend, was basically the club’s youth league team.
“They have really quick pace up front, are technically excellent and the weakness is that they’re inexperienced,” he said.
“But sometimes their quality is that good they make up for that.”
Gnjidic said City would have the same squad that beat Sunshine against Victory.
“Over the five games, we’d like to have a couple more points, but the consistency in our performance is the most pleasing thing,” he said.
Saturday’s senior game will kick off from 6pm and follow the under-20 clash, which will begin at 4pm.
...we’d like to have a couple more points, but the consistency in our performance is the most pleasing thing."
