In the match of round three, a trailing Warrnambool produced a strong second half to run over the top of an injury depleted Ballarat and secure a 3-5 victory at Pleasant Street on Sunday.
Ballarat North United stunned Bacchus Marsh piling on 13 goals to one to give its goal differential a boost.
Jessica Dart starred with four goals for United, with Amy Whiting following closely with three.
New league additions Ballarat Eureka Strikers continued their winning streak with their most recent victim, Forest Rangers, which went down 0-3.
Meanwhile, in men’s division one competition, Sebastopol Vikings again displayed dominance with a three-goal second half to produce a 4-1 victory over Buninyong Redbacks.
The Vikings had a good attacking spread with goals coming from Micheal Afolabi, Josiah Miranda, Brandon Bosher and Ryan Rykers.
They remain the only team to have success in each of their first three outings.
Warrnambool and Victoria Park also made the winners list, with both teams clinching their second victories for the season to push their way into the top four.
