PEAK hour train services are back up and running after a medical emergency at Ballarat station today delayed services.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to the station at 1.36pm, where a woman in her 30s was found unconscious.
The woman was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital in a critical condition.
Services including the 2.49pm from Ararat to Southern Cross were delayed for more than 30 minutes while the 2.15pm from Southern Cross to Ararat was forced to terminate at Ballarat.
Customers were placed on buses for the remainder of their trips.
Some residual delays can be expected throughout the evening.
