A bus fire on the Western Freeway, has been brought under control.
All 15 passengers have been evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported, a CFA media spokesperson said.
CFA units were called when smoke and flames erupted from the rear of the bus at 4.49pm. The bus still had diesel fuel in a tank at the time.
Traffic control is in place to divert traffic around the bus on the Western Freeway, near Anthony’s Cutting, Melton.
The bus was travelling toward Melbourne at the time.

Fifteen people have been evacuated from a bus on the Western Freeway after the bus they were travelling in caught fire.
The CFA were called to the bus fire at 4.50pm on the corner of the Western Freeway and Anthony’s Cutting, Hopetoun Park, when smoke filled the bus interior.
CFA units from Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Myrniong are responding.
The bus was Melbourne bound.
