FOR five Ballarat tradies, having a dance in the workplace has earned them a cool $10,000.Ludbrook Joinery employees Jason Barnett, Tom Ryan, Simon Spencer, Justin Sculley and Ricky McDonald were this week named the winners of the CGU Insurance dance competition Bust a Move with Gary.Simon saw the competition advertised at a footy game in Melbourne and decided he and his mates had the moves to have a go.One night they stayed back late at work to brainstorm, choreograph dance moves and film the final product.Four moves made the cut, including the plunger, the hammer, the measuring tape and, of course, pay day.''The plunger, hammer and measuring tape can be seen on any typical day,'' Jason said.''But it's only on Friday that the last move, pay day, rears its head.''CGU received more than 30 video entries and the public voted on their favourites. They plan to split the winnings equally and put it towards an end-of-year trip to Queensland. The competition challenged Australians to show off their funniest and most creative workplace inspired dance moves.Ludbrook Joinery management said they were thrilled for the boys' success.
