Ballarat strongman competitors Victoria Stewart, Simone Anderson and Ryan Bartok all delivered on what they set out to do at the Victorian Log, Deadlift and Stone Championships at Keilor on Saturday – bring home personal bests.

Stewart lifted a 100kg atlas stone load, Anderson completed a 140kg deadlift – twice her body weight – while Bartok managed a 130kg atlas stone load.
Bartok and Stewart finished second in their respective categories, underlining the strong field was the fact Stewart finished behind Briony Williams who lifted an Australian record of 260kg – 11kg off the world record.
While Anderson finished fourth in her category.
Overall it was a positive day for the Ballarat representatives.
