A NEW library and classroom complex at Alfredton Primary School will deliver "21st century learning", principal Laurel Donaldson says. The complex was built under the federal government's Building the Education Revolution. Ms Donaldson said the facility was a great source of pride for pupils. She said the new complex would help the school keep abreast of technological advancements and provide a more pleasant environment for pupils and teachers."It just makes their surroundings more comfortable for them to learn in," she said.Ballarat MP Catherine King officially opened the new $3.2 million complex yesterday at a school assembly before touring the site."It's one of the largest buildings of all of the BER projects in the area and I think it's really changing the way in which teaching's happening here at Alfredton Primary School," she said.Ms King said she was happy with the rollout of BER projects across her electorate. She said the project had "supported" the employment of 23 workers.
