A COUPLE from Clunes who won a division one Tattslotto prize worth $532,446 say they will be doing the sensible thing: saving their winnings.The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, released a statement yesterday, saying they were completely unaware of their good fortune until a week after their numbers were drawn on November 12.“We go into town most Saturdays, and always stop in and see Ken and Margaret at the Clunes Newsagency to buy our Tattslotto entry for that night, and have the previous week’s ticket checked,” the man explained.“When Margaret ran my ticket through the lotto terminal and pulled me aside to tell me it looked like I’d had a big win, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!”The couple said they had been playing lotto for as long as they can recall.Follow @ballaratcourier
