Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club is joining the chase for 1V plates at the Victorian BMX Championships at Warrnambool.

The club will have 16 riders in the titles, which have attracted more than 500 competitors for the three-day event from Friday.
As reigning champion, Bailey Stewart will be defending his 1V plate in the men’s 19-24 year cruiser class.
Adel Munro and Ben Simmonds, who are ranked in the top eight, are other Ballarat Sebastopol riders in contention for titles.
Munro lines up in the women’s 19-24 year class, in which she holds the 4A plate.
Mitchell Ord holds a number of state plates, including retro 2V, cruiser 5V and 20-year 7V, and will be out improve his rankings.
Mini-wheelers Fletcher Pollard and Solomon Collingwood are the youngest of the Ballarat contingency.
The mini-wheelers’ class features riders on balance bikes, usually under the age of four years.
Father and son combination Ben and Hunter Simmonds will also be on the track.
Ben is tackling the men’s 30-34 year class in which he carries the 6V plate, while Hunter will compete in the boys’ eight-year division.
