The two sides are locked together on one win apiece after the Rest of Ballarat outfit prevailed in the Twenty20 fixture at Ballarat Grammar last year.
Teams are currently being assembled for the 2019 installment, which will be played at the same ground on Saturday, February 2.
Matt Clark is captain of the Rest of Ballarat side, while Ajay Reddy is skipper of the Indian outfit.
Hosted by the Friends of India Network, the match will raise funds to help improve care for stroke patients and support affected families.
The first fundraiser event organised by FIN was held in 2017. It collaborated with Melbourne-based Australian South Asian Healthcare Association and secured $7000 for maternal health projects run by this group in the Indian subcontinent. Last year, $9000 was raised for prevention of family violence.
The match on February 2 will be followed by dinner and presentation in the evening at the Ballarat Mechanics’ Institute. More than 150 guests are expected at the function, which will include key note addresses, live music and other entertainment. Auction of cricket memorabilia and other items will add to the fundraising effort.
