ICON Industries has been named the Australian Regional Supplier of the Year for the second consecutive year in the Telstra Vendor Awards.
The Ballarat pre-cast concrete manufacturer vied against about 5000 other suppliers to Telstra for the award.
It has supplied pay phone bases, underground access chambers and pit covers to Telstra across Australia for the past 40 years.
Telstra Country Wide south-west Victoria regional manager Grant Wiltshire said Icon had been recognised for its contribution to the company and the community.
"These awards are held every year for organisations and companies that supply Telstra with equipment to build, maintain and enhance our services," he said.
Icon managing director Russell Coxall said the company's relationship with Telstra had been a continuous and successful one.
"To win this award you've got to have an impeccable supply record, supply a very good product with a continual improvement program and make a significant economic contribution to the region.
"It is well deserved recognition for all our staff at Icon," he said.
