Disappointing backflip on smart meters

I SEE the state government has done a backflip on smart meters. Before the election they huffed and puffed and said they were going to remove smart meters but, this week, the Energy Minister Michael O'Brien announced the roll-out of these so-called smart meters to Victorian homesIt's disappointing to say the least that the Baillieu government continues to sit on its hands and allows essential services like power and water to increase sharply while these chief executives that run these companies live a life of luxury, without a care in the world, while many battling families go without to meet these higher charges.
