The CFA has issued an emergency warning for the communities of Mount Prospect, Sailors Falls, Eganstown, Sailors Hill, Musk Vale and Blampied as a result of large fast moving fire in the area.The CFA say the fire is travelling in a South East direction."This grassfire is approximately 60 hectares in size and is out of control, currently creating spot-fires approximately up to 1.5 Kms ahead," the CFA website states.A "direct ember attack" has been issued for the Telegraph, Suckling and Hurns Roads. This fire is expected to affect Mount Prospect, Sailors Falls, Eganstown, Sailors Hill, Musk Vale, Blampied. The CFA have also issued a "Watch and Act" alert for Leonards, Korweinguboora, Leonards Hill, Mount Prospect, Paddy Point, Sailors Falls, Spargo Creek, Wombat, Woodburn, Mollongghip, Rocklyn, Langdons Hill, Musk Vale, Newlyn North, Borlands, Blampied and Barkstead.
