The $60,000 flood recovery project repaired several roads that were damaged when 200 millimetres of rain fell on the park in a major storm in 2011.
Parks Victoria Ranger in Charge Karen Doyle said the completion of the flood recovery works would help visitors get about in Enfield State Park in time for the Easter holidays.
“I’m happy to announce flood recovery works at Enfield State Park are complete,” Ms Doyle said.
“I’m looking forward to visitors exploring this hidden gem,” Karen said.
Ms Doyle said the locations of works included Misery Creek Road, East Dozed Track, Halls Road, Stafffordshire Reef Road and Long Gully Road.
“Our works schedule has graded key tracks in the park to help people experience more of Enfield’s historic and natural values,” she said.
“Parks Victoria flood recovery works have also cleaned up and installed culverts along six kilometres of flood damaged roads.”
