Grinter and the Swans’ coaching director John Northey will go head-to-head as coaches.
Northey coached Grinter while with the Demons from 1986 to 1992.
Ballarat players from the 1980s and 1990s will line up for the “Swans” and “Rats”
Karl Drever is captaining the Swans and Matt Ilsley is the Rats’ skipper.
Northey and Grinter will round out the day with an “on the couch” interview session at the Alfredton Sports and Community Centre.
The legends’ match at 2.45pm will follow a full-scale senior practice match between Ballarat Swans and Warrack Eagles.
