POLICE this morning located a missing Victorian schoolgirl near Millicent, in south-east South Australia.
They found the 13-year-old girl with 36-year-old Sebastopol man Dean Patrick James after receiving information about a possible sighting from a member of the public.
Missing since Tuesday, the pair were located at around 11am today with police arresting Mr James and seizing a blue Ford station wagon.
The teenager was reported as missing after she failed to return to her family home in Ultima, near Swan Hill. She is believed to have travelled to Ballarat via Bendigo to meet Mr James.
A South Australian Police spokesperson said the pair have been taken for questioning in Mt Gambier, and charges are expected to be laid.
More to come.
