BACCHUS Marsh police are appealing for witnesses following two burglaries.
An unknown number of offenders broke into the BP service station and the UFS dispensary, both on Grant Street, about 4am.
Police believe the same offenders broke into both businesses.
Sergeant Trevor Johnstone said the thieves smashed windows to gain entry, and ransacked both premises.
He said it appeared nothing was taken from the service station, but that items had been moved around.
It is unknown yet what was taken from the dispensary.
Police will review CCTV footage of both break ins.
