ZOE Hives has played a key hand in guiding Australia into the Junior Fed Cup world finals in Europe later this year.
She won her singles and was part of a winning doubles combination in a 2-1 win over number one seeded India in an Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying quarter final in Bendigo today.
Hives continued her barnstorming form in the opening singles, defeating India's Snehadevi Reddy 6-1, 6-1.
This kept the Kingston teenager unbeaten.
The tie was decided in the doubles though after Naiktha Bains lost to Rutuja Bhosale 7-6, 6-2.
Hives and Bains then took out the doubles two sets to win.
This puts Australia into the semi-finals tomorrow.
This is the first time Hives has represented Australia.
