BASKETBALL

Ballarat Rush and Ballarat Miners face Albury-Wodonga in a road trip on Saturday night.

WOMEN

Ballarat Rush has emphatically claimed a 36-point win on the road against Albury-Wodonga in the South East Australian Basketball League.

Victory was dampened by a serious injury to guard Cass Hobbs who twisted her knee deep in the final term.

Hobbs is likely to undergo scans on Sunday afternoon to determine the extent of the injury.

Nat Taylor returned to dominant form with a double-double, 24 points, 11 rebounds, to lead the charge.

Scores were level at 20-all at quarter-time.

Rush built a 13-point buffer by half-time but put a stranglehold on the match in the second half, restricting the Lady Bandits to a combined 10 points.
