North City raced away from slow-starting Lake Wendouree to eventually defeat the Lakers 11.10 (76) to 2.12 (24).
And Bacchus Marsh enjoyed a come-from-behind 10 point victory over Melton, the Cobras' 12.6 (78) to the Bloods' 10.8 (68).
Earlier Ballarat stormed home to claim a 54-point victory against East Point at Alfredton Oval on Saturday.
The Swans overcame a 17-point deficit at quarter time, to take the initiative by the final change.
They then finished with the last five goals of the match in the final term for a 18.15 (123) to 10.9 (69) triumph.
And Redan proved too strong for Sebastopol, defeating the Kookaburras 29.20 (194) to 12.8 (80) at Marty Busch Reserve.
