FORMER University of Ballarat Arts Academy student Sam Ludeman will compete in Monday’s battle round of hit television singing show The Voice.
Ludeman, who is coached by British music star Seal, said the buzz around the show had been “epic”, while working with his musical idol was a highlight.
“It’s been overwhelming but in a positive way,” he said. “There’s been so many phone requests and Twitter followers. With people recognising me at the airport and Boost Juice it’s been surreal but I’m loving every second of it.”
Ludeman spent three years in Ballarat while studying a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre and performs with his own band.
He has an extensive acting and theatre background, including a role as the male lead in Xanadu: The Musical.
Ludeman impressed the judges in the blind auditions with his rendition of Not Over You.
