BALLARAT Miners coach Guy Molloy will embark to China tomorrow to lead the nation's most promising talent.
Molloy is coaching the Australian under-17 boys' team in a four nations tour of China.
The fortnight-long tip will feature round-robin tournaments in the cities of Shinian, Xi'an and Shangluo with Australia set to battle China, Denmark and Lithuania.
Players will be keen to impress ahead of FIBA Under-17 World Championships selections.
Miners' assistant coach Grant Spencer will step up to lead the Miners' South East Australian Basketball League campaign with Paul Tudorovic as his assistant while Molloy is away.
