BUNGAREE midfielder Ricky Cummins is expected to miss just one week after being cleared of serious damage to his shoulder.
The midfielder was taken to hospital for x-rays in the second half of the Demons' round four Central Highlands Football League clash with Newlyn on Saturday.
The scans failed to reveal any breaks, and Cummins will visit a physio today to assist with rehabilitation.
Cummins said he was likely to miss this weekend's trip to Learmonth, but hoped to return for the round six encounter with Beaufort.
He also hoped he would be right to push his case for interleague selection.
Two final-quarter goals from Luke Mirtschin lifted Bungaree to an eight-point victory on Saturday and into third place on the ladder.
