BFL: Ayden up for interleague

NORTH Ballarat City best and fairest Ayden George has put his hand up for interleague duty.

George has been added to the Ballarat Football League's preliminary training squad on the eve of its first training session.

City now has nine players nominated for the Victorian Country Football League clash against Geelong on May 26.

There was initial doubt about George's availability for the match, which is why he was not named in the initial squad list released late last week.

The BFL squad trains tonight at Eureka Stadium.
