ONE lucky Victorian “south-west of Melbourne” has won a $24 million share of last night’s Oz Lotto jackpot, but might not even know about it.
Tatts spokesperson Zoe Knobel today said the winning ticket sold in Victoria was unregistered and urged people in the area to check their entries.
“The $24.9 million winning Oz Lotto ticket sold in the area south-west of Melbourne is not registered to a Tatts Card, so we have no contact details for the winner,” Ms Knobel said.
“It is possible that the winner may not be aware of their good fortune just yet.”
The mystery Victorian ticket was one of three to win in last night’s draw. The other two tickets were sold in Sydney and Adelaide.
Earlier today, a Tatts spokesperson said the area of Victoria the ticket was sold in included Ballarat “in a sense”.
The winning numbers in were 17, 8, 28, 34, 41, 42 and 6, with the supplementary numbers 4 and 19.
Oz Lotto will offer a $2 million division one prize in next week's draw.
