We have three tiers of government handing down budgets.
The local government budget is yet to be delivered so we wait and see. It will most likely will raise costs with little gain to the ratepayer.
The state budget cut yet more jobs in the public service.
So those of the public wanting services from government departments can most likely expect that they will not be delivered in a timely manner if at all.
Fewer staff cannot deliver more. As for the federal budget, it really does seem to want people to register at Centrelink. Having decided to terminate any dealings with Centrelink due to their incompetence we may have to re-think this now.
Good on Labor for helping the rich stay wealthy and helping the middle class become lower class and keeping the poor poorer. What a welfare dependent country we are having to become. It appears that none of the tiers of government are encouraging people to improve their financial standing so that they may become self sufficient.
