BRIDES-to-be looking for a fairytale wedding — or any sort of wedding — were at the right place at yesterday’s Visionary Wedding Expo.
The expo took over Ballarat Mining Exchange, bringing together the Ballarat region’s best offerings of fashion, beauty, cakes, photography, celebrants and venues.
Event organiser Rachel Kinscher said the afternoon fashion parade saw dressmaker and boutique Melissa E Bridal show off its Disney gown collection, featuring about 40 fairytale gowns and dresses.

“It’s all the fairytales you can imagine encapsulated in these dresses,” she said.
Earlier, evening wear, intimate apparel and lingerie were paraded on the catwalk and a pole dancing demonstration wowed the crowd.
“This event will really help people speed up their wedding preparation,” Ms Kinscher said.
