Be prepared, another drought is already here

I BELIEVE we are in another drought.

We have not had an autumn rain break.

Winter is only a week away and there's no break in sight.

More significantly, the Bureau of Meteorology is getting its forecasts wrong, the same as it did throughout the recent drought.

It has sophisticated programs on huge fast computers, which do well at predicting rain in normal times.

But all through the last drought they would be forecasting rain several days ahead, and the next time possible rain, then showers; yet when the day came it would be dry.

This has happened consistently for the past several months.

The weather is behaving the same as it did in the drought and we are in one now.

We should be preparing ourselves.
