HEAVILY armed police arrested two men yesterday as part of a special investigation into outlaw motorcycle gangs.
Pre-dawn raids in Maryborough and Landsborough saw firearms, white powder, cannabis and cash all recovered by a police special operations group.
Ballarat, Bendigo and Maryborough police were all involved in the operation, when four Maryborough addresses and one Landsborough property were raided.
A 39-year-old Maryborough man has been charged with possessing a drug of dependence and he has been bailed to appear at Maryborough Magistrates Court on July 24.
Another Maryborough man, 34, has been released pending further inquiries.
Victoria Police established Taskforce Echo in February last year to crack down on motorbike gangs.
