Melbourne Cup 2012: How they finished

By now, just about everyone in Australia knows what horse won the 2012 Melbourne Cup: Green Moon.

But where did your horse finish?

And, importantly for those with pending sweep tickets, which horse came last?

Well, at the wrong end of the field it was certainly no photo finish, with No.10 Ethiopia pulled up by jockey Rhys McLeod and finishing 63 lengths behind Green Moon.

Despite its name, Ethiopia is an Australian horse, trained by Pat Carey.
