Ballarat students medal at all-schools athletics titles

EIGHT Ballarat students walked away with medals from Athletics Victoria All Schools Track and Field Championships at Lakeside stadium in Melbourne at the weekend.

Ballarat Grammar School's Nicholas Milton and Liam Procaccino claimed gold medals. 

Milton, who holds numerous hurdles records for Athletics Victoria, won the under-16 100 metres hurdles in 13.44 seconds.

Procaccino won the under-17 men's 400m in 51.21 seconds.

SILVER

Samuel Baird (Ballarat Clarendon College): men's under-17 400m, 49.71,

Kiara Caddick (Ballarat High School): women's under-14 200, 25.93,

Nicholas Milton (Grammar): men's under-16 200m hurdles, 26.56.

BRONZE

Kiara Caddick (BHS): women's under-14 triple jump, 10.12m

Kiara Caddick: women's under-14 long jump, 5.16m,

Ross Darlow: (BHS) men's under-15 3000m walk, 15:22.64,

Jack Davies (BHS): men's under-18 1500m, 3:56.14,

Jack Davies (BHS): men's under-18 3000m, 8:30.69,

Holly Dobbyn (Grammar): women's under-17 400m, 60.30,

Ryan Shaw (St Patrick's College): men's under-16 high jump, 1.89 metres.
